Cranberry Chip Cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1  9oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1  9oz. bag white chocolate chips
2 cups dried cranberries
3/4 cup chopped pecans

1 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips

Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add egg yolks and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to the creamed mixture. Stir in chips, cranberries, pecans, and toffee bits. Dough will be stiff.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake for about 13 minuites or until edges are lightly browned.  Cool for 2 minutes and remove to wire racks.

Yield: six dozen

Cranberry Lane Biscuits

2 cups Self Rising Flour, sifted
1 stick butter
6oz. Dried Cranberries
2 Tbs. Orange Zest
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 Tbs melted butter

Cut butter into flour, add cranberries, orange zest and buttermilk.  Knead and cut into biscuits.  Brush with butter and bake.  Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes.  Makes 8 biscuits.

Cranberry Lane Meatballs

2 - 1lb bags frozen cocktail size meatballs (approx 64 meatballs)
1 - 10oz. can jellied cranberry sauce
1 - 12oz. bottle chili sauce
1 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne

Combine sauce ingredients.  Cook over medium heat, wisking occasionally until melted smooth. Add meatballs; stir gently to coat.  Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally 12-15 minutes or until meatballs are heated.

Cranberry Lane Chicken Salad

3 cups cooked chicken, cubed

2 stalks chopped celery

1 cup dried cranberries

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp dried sage

1 tsp garlic powder

Mix all ingresients and add mayonnaise to your preferred taste. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. Great for sandwiches or serve on crisp lettuce leaves.
